It is the German Sabine Spitz ( Merida International ) who leads in front of the Frenchwoman Laurence Leboucher (Team MTB) and her fellow countryman Ivonne Kraft (MBC Bochum) who remains a leader. Laurence Leboucher wins the 4th stage
in Swiss

Laurence Leboucher takes away her second success in MOUNTAIN BIKE this season and its first victory in section of Europe the final classification of which she took away last year. The world champion of cyclo-cross anticipates the Italian Elena Giacomuzzi (Bike Pro Action) and the Swiss Sonja Traxel (Swisspower MTB Team). France, Italy and Switzerland, we find the same nations on the feminine and male podia. Thanks to her 5th place, the German Ivonne Kraft keeps the head of the temporary classification of the Europe Cup but Laurence Leboucher replaces. Without her fixed price during the 2nd sleeve (competed for the same weekend as the Cup of France), the Norman would be widely at the head of the test. " I knew climatic conditions close to Normandy with rain and wind. It naturally returned the very muddy and slippery ground. This victory allows me to return to the general classification and so to take the second place behind Yvonne Kraft " clarifies Laurence from the finishing line.

Brûlon : Laurence wins

This time, the bar is placed even higher but the bet of the success is already launched. All Brûlon, municipality, associations and private individuals, the Community of Municipalities Vègre and Champagne, the Region of the Countries of the Loire, the department of the Sarthe, the Valley association of the Sarthe have already adhered to the project and to the challenge.

A godmother of choice was indicated. It is about Laurence Leboucher who is a world champion of cyclo-cross 2002. Her affection to Brûlon is also a big honor for premises. She will know how to be, with the European runners, an ambassadress of choice.

Laurence Leboucher (Team MTB 72) perfectly mastered the pressure to lead on her lands. Lolotte made a success of the completed ride by taking the head from the first bend, the position which it will never leave. On the finishing line, the champion of France takes it in front of her fellow countrymen Sabrina Enaux (Team Stop Service Saint Dié), her most serious opponent during the test because she ends in only 49 seconds, and Hélène Marcouyre (Giant VTT Mag). Ivonne Kraft (MBC Bochum) is classified 5th, the German preserves her leader's red mailot but nothing is decided yet for the final victory. In spite of his fixed price during the 2nd sleeve, Laurence Leboucher is always in ambush with 13 points of delay. To hope to take away the final classification, Laurence Leboucher will have to gain the last sleeve while Ivonne Kraft will not have to make better that the 3rd place, it is thus completely possible.
