Championships of Europe

 Laurence Leboucher remained out of the podium of the championship of Europe of cyclo - cross, Saturday to Tabor, in Republic Czech. The Norman finished 4th to 1'32” of the laureate, the German Kupfemagel. Maryline Salvetat got the medal of bronze.

Maryline Salvetat demonstrated that she was currently best French in cyclo - cross since she finishes 3rd just before Laurence Leboucher. After a long period of convalescence, following the fracture of her collarbone in last July, the Sarthoise comes back to the high level whereas she only has three weeks of practice. " Seen my absence at the time of the last competitions, the number of dossard that has been assigned me made me leave in last position. What explains that it was very difficult to go back up. I finish in spite of all in 4th position " annotated Laurence Leboucher while adding " I feel very well physically and finish 4th today at some seconds of a medal is encouraging for next week where I would be in Germany and for the championship of the World next " February 1st.

During a very fast race of 40 minutes that didn't include less than three portages and of marches the victory came back to Hanka Kupfernagel, the German imposed herself alone before the Netherlander Marianne Vos. To note the beautiful 6th room of Nadia Triquet to only 1'10 " of Kupfernagel, 2nd of the 1st stage of the Cut of the world thin October.
