French National Challenge 2005-2006
National challenge of Cyclo-cross in Fourmies Tuesday 01 Novembre 2005 - From www.echoduvelo.com
"double Leboucher" By gaining the test of opening of the organized national challenge with Fourmies, Laurence Leboucher
(UV Fresnoise) struck very extremely it which thinks of putting a term at its career of resulting from winter season. "I have in heart to celebrate and to give pleasure this winter bus after I stop the
cyclo-cross later", imitated some words by Maryline Salvetat which it also considered this possibility. It is Nadia Triquet who will be happy the next year....
No surprises with final with as of the first of blow of pedal a catch in hands of the tenors of the speciality, in spite of the
takeover of Severine Hansen (the Marseilles Apple) who tried the blow in front of Maryline Salvetat (VSLL Castres), Nadia Triquet-Claude (VC Moyenmoutier) and Laurence Leboucher (CD the Sarthe). Dimensioned nordists
Aline Parsy (Madeleinoise Pedal) and Celine Witteck (Dunkirk) in spite of creditable intentions were very quickly isolated debates... Ahead, Severine Hansen was outdistanced group of head as of the end of the first
of the five turns, leaving the keys with the Salvetat trio, Leboucher, Triquet. For the places of honor Corinne Sempé (Lescar) Christel Ferrier-Bruneau and Henaff (VS Quimprois) did the work necessary in order to
keep considerable competitors at distances.
Laurence Leboucher carried an acceleration with a violent one and sudden change of rate which caused the loss of Nadia Triquet-Claude.
Consequently the test was summarized in a duel between Leboucher and Salvetat, which preceded Nadia Triquet of 9"with starts third loop, Severine Hansen of 43", Corinne Sempé of 49", Sabrina Enaux (St
Di) and Christel Ferrier-Bruneau (Bziers the Mediterranean) of 58", Alexandra Henaff of 1' 20", and Caroline Mani (AC Besancon) of 1' 28 ". Final which thus turned to the advantage of the double
Champion of the world, this being of good forecasts at one week of the European expiry programmed on the circuit of Pontchâteau where they had carried out doubled the beginning 2004 at the time of the World one.

National Challenge 2 in Athée-sur-Cher The champions of France made the show
Maryline Salvetat and Romain Villa make honor with the tricolour shirt at the time of the 2nd handle of the National Challenge.
It is under grayed November old sun which dies that are brought together today the national specialists in the cyclo-cross. One month after the first stage of the National Challenge and two months before the
Championships of France of Sedan, the pressure assembles all gently. The site of Athée-sur-Cher, in the Indre-and-Loire, again obtained the favours of the French Federation of Cycling, and it is a physical course of
2700 meters that the Sporting Union of Saint-Pierre-des-Corps Cycling traced within the splendid framework of the castle of Nitray. Witness of the growing popularity of the cyclo-cross, the National Challenge
records a new record of participation with 483 competitors at the beginning: 136 Juniors, 126 Juniors, 99 Espoirs, 37 women and 85 Elites. With them, hundreds of follower mass as of 10 hours this morning behind the
rubalises unrolled through the park of the castle and in its underwoods. At the Ladies, not need for photo finish! The champion of France Maryline Salvetat (Lapierre International), number three world, starts
immediately. Castraise puts all its adversaries in the wind as of the first turn, which it buckles with about fifteen seconds in advance on Laurence Leboucher (UV Fresnoise), Nadia Triquet (VC Moyenmoutier) and
Christel Ferrier-Bruneau (Bziers the Mediterranean Cyclisme). The traditional hierarchy of the female cyclo-cross is set up quickly. Behind the Salvetat queen, Laurence Leboucher isolates herself in the second lap
before Nadia Triquet does not demolish herself of Christel Ferrier-Bruneau in the final one. Placed but still never gaining this season, Maryline Salvetat thus is essential on Athée-sur-Cher with 59 seconds in
advance on Laurence Leboucher and 1' 13 " ahead Nadia Triquet. The Pyrenean one takes the head of the National Challenge, with equality of points with Laurence Leboucher. The third and last stage of the
National Challenge will take place Sunday December 18 with Nommay, in Doubs.

From www.velo101.com
There is nothing to discuss, once again! If Laurence Leboucher (UV Fresnoise) had carried it in Fourmies, Maryline Salvetat (Lapierre

Championships of France in Sedan
Leboucher did not say its last word
Day before...
The hyperactive double world champion of cyclo-cross (2002 and 2004) would like to add in the Ardennes a fourth title to its national
collection in the ploughings (2000-2001-2003). I love running and I always believe winning, claims that which has not been gifted by three blue-white-red skirts for three years. I am not out of pressure. It is
Maryline Salvetat the girl to defeat " understanding the she dominated the beginning of season, but Laurence Leboucher does not formalize herself therefore. Hardest with it dice the departure will be to roll.
Afterwards, all is possible. Physically, tactically and technically I know that I am in. Psychologically the member of UV Fresnoise remains a model for all these young ladies. Sarthoise already took a lead in
the circuit of Sedan, at the time of a stage of the national challenge. The layout is demanding, with its coast out of bituminous mix and its accentuated cants I hope that the ground will remain cold. If I have the
legs in good shape in the first lap, I would be reassured. But I am not any more afraid. For more, a championship, it is the occasion to give everything i have got. And I do not like to regret. My career soon will
stop, I do not want of it... "Before thinking of another life and at the time when the French Federation of cycling counts on it, Laurence Leboucher always wants to have fun. Malicious with its
adversaries and sponsors in the heart.

In very good shape at the national challenge (prize winner of the National Challenge with two victories) like international (number 4
UCI ranked), Maryline Salvetat (VSLL Castrate) is announced like the large favorite one with its succession. But one should not sell the skin of the bear before to have killed him, and the female race will point out
it to us.
Contrary to the scenarios of the last stages of the National Challenge, Laurence Leboucher (Ten Tusscher) opposes a resistance to the
champion outgoing France. Together Salvetat and Leboucher outdistanced their challengers easily but do not succeed in deciding who should win during the six laps of circuit. This palpitating duel is forwarded to a
decisive sprint. Salvetat and Leboucher are aware and preserve of it in the optics of the sprint. Unfortunately, Maryline Salvetat exposes with 100 meters of the line and sees to fly away the victory, which returns
to Laurence Leboucher. Sarthoise, which disputed there its last Championship of France, is withdrawn with the honors. She precedes Maryline Salvetat and Nadia Triquet (VC Moyenmoutier). What to inflate its ambitions
at three weeks of the World ones.
